Dr. Ilya Archakov is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics at York University. His research interests include multivariate and high dimensional econometrics with a special focus on big data analysis in economics and finance. A substantial part of empirical applications based on this research are related to the field of financial econometrics. Before joining York University, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Vienna.
