Accepting New Graduate Students
Ian Roberge is a professor in the School of Public Policy and Administration. Professor Roberge is cross-appointed to the graduate programs in political science as well as to the Master of Public and International Affairs on the Glendon campus. Previously, he served as Interim Principal, co-Interim Principal and Associate Principal, Academic on the Glendon campus.
He has co-edited many books including most recently Asymmetric Neighbors and International Relations: Living in the Shadow of Elephants (Routledge, 2023) with Tom Klassen (York University) and Nara Park (Yonsei University). With Charles Conteh (Brock University), he co-edited, Canadian Public Administration in the 21st Century(CRC Press, 2014). He has also written numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters in English and in French.
Professor Roberge’s research interests include public administration and public policy including bad policy and digital public administration, as well as, financial services sector policy. He previously worked on anti-money laundering and terrorism financing policy, and foresight in government.
He enjoys teaching and always looks forward to working with York's wonderful students.
Professor Roberge is open and excited to consider new projects, opportunities and challenges.
