Jung-Chin Shen is an assistant professor at the School of Administrative Studies of Atkinson Faculty at York University. He received his PhD degree from INSEAD in 2005. Professor Shen’s research focuses on corporate strategy and entrepreneurship.
Jung-Chin Shen is an assistant professor at the School of Administrative Studies of Atkinson Faculty at York University. He received his PhD degree from INSEAD in 2005. Professor Shen’s research focuses on corporate strategy and entrepreneurship. His dissertation examines the spillover effects among initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and strategic alliances. This line of work has appeared in several academic journals such as Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization and Small Business Economics, and is reviewed by Strategic Management Journal and Industrial and Corporate Change. Professor Shen’s current research projects, sponsored by New York University and York University, investigate the origin of American legal institution from 1890 to 1990 as well as the effects of initial public offerings on competitive dynamics.
