Dr. Jinyue Li is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics. Dr. Li worked as an assistant professor at City University of Hong Kong (2015-2019) and an Assistant Professor at University of Windsor (2019-2023). She has eight years of experience in teaching introductory level courses, upper-year electives, as well as Master level courses. In particular, she has expertise in teaching first-year large-sized classes and served as the course leader to coordinate with instructors in different sections. Her work has been published in the Journal of International Money and Finance.

Dr. Li also has experience in administrative work such as recruitment, admissions, organizing events, and advising students.

Being a woman of color, her commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion is built on her many years of international experiences.
