James McGillivray received his Ph.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to joining York, McGillivray most recently taught American business law with Northwest Missouri State University’s programme in Shanghai. His research and teaching are interdisciplinary and draw on political economy, the law and economics movement, and critical legal studies. His research interests focus on the political economy of intellectual property, labour and employment law, human rights, and constitutional law.
