Mustafa Karakul received his doctorate in Operations Management from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto, in 2004. Mustafa studies the effects of coordinating pricing and procurement decisions on the overall profitability of the supply chains. The courses Mustafa teaches on Quantitative Methods, Operations Management, Operations Research, and Supply Chain Management benefit from not only his research but also his experience with organizations in Canada and Turkey.

Dr. Karakul’s work has been either published or accepted for publication in the internationally renowned journals such as Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, Computers and Operations Research, and International Journal of Production Economics. Mustafa is currently working on a project, “E-commerce revenue management: realistic and practical models for multiple products,” which is funded by NSERC with an Individual Discovery Grant.
