I am currently serving as a Sessional Assistant Professor (CLA) at the Department of Economics at York University. I am a Distinguished Fulbright Scholar and my research and teaching interests are in the areas of Development Economics and Financial Markets. Specifically, I am interested in the issues revolving around poverty and its effect on economic development in developing countries. My recent research papers focus on relevant issues pertaining to applied threshold models and their use in development economics.
