T.V. Reed is Buchannan Distinguished Professor of American Studies and English at Washington State University in Pullman and Visiting Professor of English and Humanities at York. His areas of research and teaching expertise include: 20th/2ist cent. US multicultural fiction; interdisciplinary cultural theory; popular culture; digital culture; environmental justice cultural studies; and role of the culture in social movements. His books include: Fifteen Jugglers, Five Believers: Literary Politics and the Poetics of American Social Movements (UC Press, 1992); The Art of Protest: Culture and Activism from the Civil Rights Movement to the Streets of Seattle (Minnesota, 2005); Digitized Lives: Culture, Power and Social Change in the Internet Era (Rutledge, 2014); and Robert Cantwell and the Literary Left ( U Washington Press, 2014).
