Project Description:
This project is looking at: (1) whether 3-6 month placements really do make young Canadians into "global citizens" and, (2) what impact these short stays have on the organizations and communities that host Canadians and other Northerners. South Africa, Malawi, Peru, Guatemala, Jamaica and Thailand are the countries in the international part of the study.
