Dr. Chaudhuri’s research & writing focuses on the anthropology of religion, politics, public culture, multiculturalism, secularism, South Asia, Hinduism, race/ethnicity, nationalism, globalization, immigration, media, and technology. He has taught at Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY) and the University of Toronto Mississauga (Mississauga, ON) prior to joining the Department of Anthropology at York University as Sessional Assistant Professor.
