, Janice C. H. (鄭喜載) Kim is a historian of modern Korea, specializing in gender, labor, war, and migration in the twentieth century. She is author of several articles including: “Pusan at War: Refuge, Relief, and Resettlement in the Temporary Capital, 1950–1953,” “The Pacific War and Working Women in Late-Colonial Korea;” and book: To Live to Work: Factory Women in Colonial Korea, 1910-1945 (Stanford: Stanford University Press, 2009). She is Associate Professor of History at York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
