Professor Reisenleitner's research focuses on digital humanities, e-learning, urban imaginaries, the role of location in fashion and style, and history, memory and nostalgia in popular and digital culture. Recent publications include Wiener Chic: A Locational History of Vienna Fashion (Bristol: Intellect, 2013, co-written with Susan Ingram).
Professor Reisenleitner situates his work at the intersections of Cultural History and Cultural Studies. His current research focuses on the imaginaries of mobility, community, fashion and style in the global digital city. He has also worked and published on urban imaginaries of modernity, digital humanities, e-learning, and memory and nostalgia in popular and digital culture.
